Allright, I have maxed out the capabilities of imovie and this week I am going to liberate some money from the bank and buy Final Cut Pro. Then I will have to figure out how to use it!
My credit card is also being tempted by the Panasonic dvx100a.
Congrats on making the leap you won’t regret it, but do you really need to spend the extra cash on FCP? Final Cut Express will give you 90% of what you need at a fraction of the price.
Bre, looks like all is well in the vlogosphere, I plan on getting final cut express before i graduate…so that should be great…you will do great things no doubt
I agree with Graham Walker, Final Cut Express is perfect for video blogging, at least much better than iMovie. You don’t need Final Cut Pro.
The only big and important feature between the two versions, is that “Pro” has the EDL option, which for videoblogging you will never use. Trust me. Buy the “Express” version and save some money.
