I’m a accumulator. I see things and I think, “hmm, i might use that.” and I pick it up and bring it into the apartment. Well today I changed that and send most everything out the door.
I’m moving out of my apartment. Years of memories and gear have been put into boxes, the dumpster and the corner. The corner is an amazing place, things go there and then disappear into the world of other people’s stuff.
I’m getting a 5×7 storage space for all my art, my cozy bed, and stuff that I might actually use in the future. Everything else went away. I could have made a killing on ebay, but sometimes things just need to go away, don’t they?
I’ll have enough stuff with me to be completely mobile and work from anywhere, but I’ve got an apartment waiting for me after sxswi in Hell’s Kitchen in New York City. Wish me luck!

awesome, bre, congratulations.
purging is good.
so is being completely mobile.
Wow! So you’re moving to NYC!
Will you replace Phil Torrone in live appearances on Rocketboom?
wow, big change - congrats and good luck.
