Eddie got stuck in NYC and stayed over last night and this morning we sat down to play PMOG over breakfast. It’s a Passive Multiplayer Online Game. It’s a game and a firefox plugin that tracks your internet surfing and you get points!

It’s just starting and it’s addictive. You can go on quests that folks have set up which are basically a few web sites to go and learn things. Here is a quest that I went on to learn about a musical instrument called the reactable. - Link

The quest took me to a page about the instrument and to a video of Bjork integrating it into her performance.

It would be cool if there was like a multiple choice test to take after going on a quest to verify that you didn’t just click on the links without reading everything.

In the gaming world, it’s super clever and fun and so it’s rewarding! Already I’m thinking about the way that aggregating the data from the game could be really interesting!

You can join the game or at least go check it out at bud.com.
