Update: in the podcast I say you need a yellow purple brown colored resistor (470 Ohm). I need to get my glasses checked because actually you need a yellow purple black (47 Ohm) resistor!

My son is making this as an end-of-year gift for his teacher and I am trying to help him. We’re both confused about the grounds. The PDF which accompanies the podcast shows four wires, one with the 47 ohm resistor, connected to the processor socket.

Can anyone tell me they connect to on the other end?

Thanks!

I’m such a noob sometimes. The one with the resistor is the ninth anode. The other three go to the three cathodes.

Duuuh!
